COBOD at a glance

COBOD was founded in 2017 after 3 years of research in state-of-the-art construction printing. They built the first fully compliant 3D printed house in Europe in 2017. In 2019 COBOD sold its first 3D construction printer and since then has seen its sales increase exponentially. Such has been the scale of its growth, it now has >65 employees at its Copenhagen headquarters. Personnel are from a diverse range of backgrounds and skill-sets including engineering, industrial design, architecture, software and business development.

Key Activities

• Development, manufacture and sale of an on-site gantry based 3D construction printers and ancillary equipment.

• Establishment of industry leading partnerships with entities such as GE Renewable, EMAAR, Larsen & Toubrou, CEMEX and HTL, amongst others.

• Research & Development in equipment, materials, software and process design. COBOD partners in its research with academic and industry leaders.
