Harcourt Technologies LTD Secures Part A (Structure) Building Approval From London Building Control For The First 3D Concrete Printed UK Social Housing Development

Harcourt Technologies Limited (HTL.tech), Harcourt Architects and Lindsay Baxter Design Ltd are delighted to announce that further to the continuing work on the first 3D printed social housing development in the UK, the structural submission for Block 5, involving 3D Concrete Printed walls (3DCP) as specified, has been accepted by London Building Control for the purposes of Part A (Structure) of the Building Regulations 2010.

This is a first for 3DCP technology in the UK and is a huge step forward for its’ deployment throughout the UK and other countries whose building regulations are technically comparable and is where materials, structural engineering, appropriate construction detailing, quality control and assurance meet.

This development extends our service offering at Harcourt Technologies Ltd and paves the way for the more economical deployment of the technology.
