Social Housing Project 3D Construction Printing Animation

The video showcases the progression of the #3dconstructionprinting process at the proposed social housing project. The apartment building consists of six, two-bedroom units over three floors.

The superstructure build is forecasted to last 12 days from the foundation to the eaves level.

Day 1 - Excavations for strip foundations start.

Day 2 - Foundations are poured.

Day 3 - CORDEC blocks are installed, the foundation is backfilled and sand blinding is applied. DPM is laid and insulated precast slabs installed.

Day 4 - Foundations for the machine are poured and installation of the COBOD BOD2 5-4-8 commences. The machine is calibrated.

Day 5 - South Block perimeter wall is printed and perimeter insulation is inserted. The cavity wall of South Block is printed and steel lintels are installed above window and door openings.

Day 6 - The North Block perimeter wall is printed and perimeter insulation is inserted. Whilst the North Block print commences light gauge steel partitioning is installed in the South Block.

Day 7 - North Block cavity wall print commences and steel lintels are installed above window and door openings. Light gauge steel hangers and joists are installed in the South Block in preparation for the first floor's printing.

Day 8 - South Block cavity wall of the first floor commences and steel lintels are installed above window and door openings. Light gauge steel portioning is installed in the North Block and light gauge steel hangers and joists are installed in the North Block in preparation for the first floor's printing.

Day 9 - Light gauge steel portioning is installed in the South Block. The North Block cavity wall commences for the first floor. Light gauge steel hangers and joists are installed in the South Block in preparation for the first floor's printing.

Day 10 - South Block floor 2 cavity wall print commences. In the North Block, the light gauge steel portioning is installed. Light gauge steel hangers and joists are installed in the North Block. Steel lintels are installed above windows and door openings.

Day 11 - South Block floor 2 light gauge steel portioning is installed. North Block cavity wall print commences for floor 2 with steel lintels installed above door and window openings.

Day 12 - Light gauge steel portioning is installed in the North Block. The printer is disassembled and the roofing, cladding and windows are installed in the coming 2-3 weeks. For more information please feel free to contact us via info@htl.tech
