HTL.tech Achieves ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Certification

Advancing 3D construction printing is about more than pioneering new build methods and delivering projects faster and more efficiently. It is also about how responsibly, consistently and safely we operate while doing so.

We are proud to announce that our 3DCP operations have been awarded ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) certifications by ISO Quality Services Ltd (ISO QSL). These three internationally recognised standards validate the systems behind our technology and project delivery.

ISO 9001: Quality built into every print

ISO 9001 is the global benchmark for quality management systems. For HTL.tech, it confirms that our workflows, from design through to on-site printing, are structured, documented and continually improved to deliver consistent, repeatable results. In 3D construction printing, accuracy and reliability are critical to achieving the performance, speed, and cost efficiencies that set this method apart from traditional construction. ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that quality is embedded in our processes, not added as an afterthought.

ISO 14001: Environmental performance by design

ISO 14001 focuses on environmental management and reflects our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of construction. 3DCP already offers opportunities to cut material waste, optimise resource use and support more sustainable building solutions, as seen in our projects such as 3D printed social housing schemes. By aligning with ISO 14001, we have formal systems in place to identify and manage environmental aspects, set measurable objectives and drive continuous improvement in how we plan and deliver our work. This ensures that as we scale 3DCP, we do so with sustainability built into our decision-making.

ISO 45001: Safety at the centre of innovation

ISO 45001 is the leading international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Achieving this certification underlines our commitment to providing a safe working environment for everyone involved in planning, operating and supporting our 3D construction printing technology. From R&D activities to live projects, our teams work with advanced equipment and evolving techniques, and robust safety practices are essential. ISO 45001 confirms that we are proactively identifying risks, implementing controls, and fostering a culture in which safety is integral to innovation.

Setting the standard for 3D construction printing

Taken together, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 represent a holistic framework for how we operate – focusing on quality, environmental responsibility and the well-being of our people. For our clients and partners, these certifications provide additional confidence that 3DCP delivers not just cutting-edge construction solutions, but does so to globally recognised standards.

As we continue to support housing, infrastructure, and research projects with 3D construction printing, these certifications help anchor our growth in clear, accountable, and externally verified best practices.
