Celebrating Grange Close Housing Project Innovation at the UK Building Innovation Awards
Last night in Birmingham, our work on the Grange Close 3D Construction Printing (3DCP) Housing Project was honoured with two awards at the Building Innovation Awards: Most Innovative Affordable Housing Project and Most Innovative Build Process using MMC.
These awards recognise not only the teamwork that brought this landmark project to life but also the exciting potential of 3D Construction Printing to transform how we deliver homes.

A Landmark Project for Ireland
The Grange Close development, undertaken in partnership with Louth County Council, stands as Ireland’s first social housing scheme built using 3DCP. Delivered with Roadstone Ltd. RMC, the project brought together an outstanding consortium of partners including Louth & Meath ETB, Harcourt Architects, GARLAND, B&C Contractors LTD, CBA Consulting Engineers, One Click LCA, VCL Consultants, Creagh Concrete, Munster Windows & Joinery, Tradecraft, Future Cast, MGM Partnership, CSD Engineering Limited, and McCann FitzGerald LLP.
This collaboration set the foundation for a new way of delivering housing in Ireland—faster, leaner, and more sustainable than traditional construction methods.

Powering the Future of 3DCP
Recognition at the Building Innovation Awards is just the beginning. With the continued support of Enterprise Ireland, Enterprise Ireland UK, The Guinness Enterprise Centre, David Slowey, minimass, COBOD International, Lowry Construction Ltd, Tarmac, the AMTCE, Engineers Ireland, the RIAI, Procurement for Housing, Gregor Reischle, HomeBond, Keystone Group, Skillnet MMC Accelerate, and MMC Ireland, we are pushing the boundaries of what this technology can achieve.
Innovation Through Collaboration
Research and innovation remain central to this journey. Our collaborations with University College Dublin, Technological University Dublin, Construct Innovate, the University of Galway, the University of Bristol, and SoFSI: The UKCRIC Soil-Foundation-Structure Interaction Laboratory are driving the next generation of solutions for the built environment.

Looking Ahead
While we are proud of what has been achieved at Grange Close, our focus is firmly on the future. Through strong partnerships, bold innovation, and a shared vision, we are reimagining housing delivery—making it faster, more robust, and more sustainable for the communities who need it most.
